Refrigerator Pure Air Ultra Air Filter
This filter is sold individually and can be used if your icemaker isn't producing ice. It fits various Frigidaire products, including Electrolux and some Sears-Kenmore models. The Frigidaire PureAir Ultra Refrigerator Air Filter Cartridge (PAULTRA) is an OEM part designed for Frigidaire refrigerators. It fits inside the air filter housing and uses carbon filtration to remove household odors from the air circulating through the vent system. The filter measures approximately 6.5 inches by 4.875 inches and should be replaced every six months.
Over time, the filter material can become saturated with trapped particles and molecules, reducing its effectiveness.
Signs that you need a new filter include:
- Odors returning to refrigerator shelves and compartments
- Musty smells coming from the ventilation area
- Reduced airflow as pores become blocked
- Visible wear on the filter material
Replacing the filter restores optimal air purification. It is also compatible with some Kenmore and Maytag models that use Frigidaire ventilation components.
