This control board is an authentic Frigidaire part, specifically designed for ovens. It manages oven temperature and functions. A damaged board can lead to inconsistent performance or a non-operational oven.
The control board is housed in a metal frame to protect it from most damage. However, exposure to moisture or heat over time can cause harm. Electrical contacts may degrade, necessitating replacement. To replace the board, first unplug the oven or switch off the circuit breaker. Remove the cowling around the oven display to access the old board. Note the wiring connections and their positions, disconnect them, remove the screws, and install the new board by reversing the steps.
This OEM control board is sold individually and is compatible with ovens from Frigidaire and Electrolux.
