Frigidaire manufactures products under its own name as well as for Electrolux and Sears-Kenmore. The Frigidaire Dishwasher Door Latch Kit, an OEM replacement part, is available in black. The kit includes a latch, handle, switches, and a door gasket. The latch ensures the dishwasher operates safely by preventing it from running with the door open, while the gasket seals the door to prevent water leakage during cycles. If your dishwasher door isn't closing properly or is leaking, this kit might be necessary.

To install, open the door, remove the screws around the inner door panel, disconnect the wires, and remove any retaining screws to access the door latch assembly. Reassemble in reverse order. The latch and gasket work together to ensure the dishwasher door stays shut during cycles and prevents leaks. This part is compatible with Kenmore, Gibson, and Uni brand dishwashers.
