Electronic Controller for Range/Stove/Oven
Frigidaire offers a range of products, including those under the Frigidaire and Electrolux brands. Additionally, Frigidaire manufactures items for Sears-Kenmore. The oven control board is crucial for managing the primary functions of your range and oven. If it starts to fail, you may notice issues with the timing mechanisms for cooking and broiling, which are often the first to malfunction. Some burners might also work intermittently. Continued use of the oven during these malfunctions can result in the cook timer failing to shut off the oven after the set baking time.
Before beginning any repairs, ensure the oven is unplugged from the main power source. Slide the oven away from the wall to access the back. Remove the small screws around the main console that secure it. Use a flathead screwdriver to carefully pry off the cap. Once the cap is removed, lift up the main console to detach it. Locate the control board, disconnect it from its wire harness, and remove the screws holding it in place. Take out the old control board and prepare to install the new one. Follow these steps in reverse to install the replacement.
This Frigidaire range oven control board is a genuine OEM part, sourced directly from Frigidaire, and is sold individually. It is compatible with Frigidaire, JennAir, and Electrolux appliances.
