Range/Stove/Oven Clock Control Board
This control board, which includes the clock and timer display, is sold separately. The touchpad cover can also be purchased individually. Frigidaire products, including those under the Electrolux and Sears-Kenmore brands, are compatible with this part.
The control board manages the heat settings for both the baking area and the electric cooktop. A malfunctioning control board can cause burners to operate inconsistently, sometimes working one day and failing the next. The same issue can affect the oven's baking and broiling functions. Additionally, a failed control board may prevent the clock and timer screen from functioning, and the stove might not turn off once the timer reaches zero.
To replace the control board, start by removing the rear screws on the back panel of the oven. Then, turn to the inside of the stove and remove the two screws below the control assembly that secure it to the cooktop. After these screws are removed, pull off the control assembly. Detach the protective cover held by two small screws, then disconnect the old control board from the wiring harness. Install the new component in reverse order.
This genuine OEM part is sourced directly from the manufacturer and is compatible with Frigidaire and Kenmore appliances.
