Range/Stove/Oven Lock Bracket Screw
This is a single replacement part. It fits Frigidaire and Electrolux products, as well as Sears-Kenmore appliances. This is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) screw, specifically designed for securing stovetop brackets. The bracket connects the stovetop to the main body of the stove. This screw is 2.1 inches long and fully threaded. If it becomes loose or rusted, it needs to be replaced to maintain the stovetop's stability and functionality. A missing screw can cause the stovetop to become unstable.
Before replacing the screw, ensure the unit is disconnected from power and gas, and the burners are cool. Remove the burner grates, caps, and control knobs. Lift the stovetop cover and locate the mounting bracket. If the screw is rusted, remove it with a screwdriver and save the nut for the new screw. Install the new screw and use the saved nut. Align the bracket properly before tightening. Once secure, lower the stovetop and reconnect the power and gas.
