Water Inlet Valve for Washing Machines
Frigidaire and Electrolux, including products made for Sears-Kenmore, offer this genuine OEM replacement water inlet valve. It is sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in washing machines. This valve controls the flow of hot and cold water into the machine. Connected to a solenoid, it receives signals from the washing machine's control center to manage water flow, volume, and temperature. The solenoid then instructs the valve to open or close as needed.
If your washing machine leaks or fails to fill with water, replacing the water inlet valve may resolve the issue. To replace it, first unplug the machine and turn off the water supply. Move the machine away from the wall and remove the back panel. Disconnect the water hoses and the wires attached to the solenoid. Remove the old valve and install the new one. Reconnect the wires and water hoses, then reinstall the back cover. Finally, turn the water and power back on and check for any leaks.
This water inlet valve is made of durable molded plastic and is sold individually. It is specifically designed for washing machines made by Frigidaire.
