Oven Bake Element with Male Push-On Terminals.
This product is compatible with various brands including Hotpoint, General Electric, and Sears-Kenmore. It is an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) replacement part specifically designed for GE ovens. Positioned at the bottom of the oven, this bake element is essential for providing heat for baking. It has dimensions of 18 1/4 inches from side to side, 15 1/2 inches from the mounting bracket to the back, and 3 inches from the terminal to the back plate, featuring 1/4 inch male spade terminals.
If your oven fails to reach the set temperature, bakes unevenly, or if the element shows visible signs of wear such as cracks or breaks, it might be time to replace the bake element.
For installation, first ensure the oven is disconnected from power. Remove the racks for easier access, then unscrew and take out the old element. Disconnect the wires from the element before installing the new one. Follow the removal steps in reverse to secure the new element in place. This part is also suitable for use with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.
Replacing this part can resolve issues like insufficient heat during baking.
