Compatible GE products include Hotpoint, General Electric, and Sears-Kenmore. This OEM drip pan is specifically designed for GE electric ranges. Positioned under the oven section, this detachable pan serves to collect any liquids, fats, or juices that may drip during the cooking process. It is suitable for use with a 6" burner element.

Indications that the drip pan may need replacement include:

- Accumulation of grease or burnt food particles
- Rust or deterioration of the pan surface affecting its integrity
- Cracks that could result in leaks outside of the pan

The primary reasons for drip pan damage are typically corrosion due to prolonged exposure to heat and food residues. Excessive heat can also cause the metal to warp and change shape.
