This kit includes all necessary components for installation, such as wires, mounting brackets, and wire connectors. It is compatible with GE products, including Hotpoint, General Electric, and Sears-Kenmore refrigerators.

The defrost thermostat operates by opening at 45°F and closing at 25°F, with a differential of 20°F. Its primary function is to prevent the evaporator from overheating during the defrost cycle.

The ML Series from Therm-O-Disc features a 3/4" (19mm) bimetal disc temperature control. This design is moisture-resistant and sealed, ensuring reliable performance. The thermostat can manage electrical loads up to 10 amps at 120VAC and 5 amps at 250VAC.
