Microwave Door Frame
This microwave door frame is compatible with GE, Hotpoint, and Sears-Kenmore products. It is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part, ensuring authenticity and reliability. Made from durable plastic, it may eventually crack or warp with frequent use. If this occurs, replacement is necessary. Note that the door frame does not come with handles; these must be purchased separately if needed.
To replace the door frame, first disconnect the microwave from its power source. You will need a screwdriver for the installation. Start by removing the door handles, which are screwed in from the inside. Next, take off the interior door panel and set aside the handles and screws. Remove the front panel by unsnapping it from the door and discard it. Align the new panel and snap it into place. Reattach the door handles and interior door panel. Finally, reconnect the power and check that the door functions properly.
This black plastic door frame is sold individually and is specifically designed for use with microwave ovens from General Electric and Hotpoint.
