Dryer Main Power Board Assembly
This component is designed for gas dryers. It is compatible with brands such as GE, Hotpoint, General Electric, and Sears-Kenmore. Serving as the main control board, this OEM replacement part manages the dryer’s functions and settings. If your dryer is failing to start, spin, or dry clothes effectively, the main control board may need replacement.
Replacing the main control board is straightforward. Begin by pulling the dryer forward to access the back panel. Remove the upper back panel. Push the front of the control panel and use a putty knife to lift it from the mounting brackets. Disconnect the wires from the old control board, noting their positions with a photo. Disconnect the air hose, remove the mounting screws, and release the locking tabs to extract the old board. Install the new board by securing it in the locking tabs, reconnecting the air hose, and reattaching the wires.
This genuine control board is suitable for dryers from General Electric, Hotpoint, RCA, and Sears/Kenmore.
