Refrigerator Canister Water Filter<br /><br />This water filter reduces lead, chlorine, and cysts in drinking water. It should be replaced every six months. GE brands such as Cafe, General Electric, Monogram, Haier, Hotpoint, Profile, Fisher & Paykel, and Sears-Kenmore use the MXRC SmartWater Filter. This filter minimizes lead, cysts, taste and odor, chlorine, sediment, and turbidity in water and ice. For best performance, replace it every six months or after 300 gallons. It fits older Hotpoint and GE Monogram refrigerator models including: ZIS36, ZIS42, ZIS48, ZISB36, ZISB42, ZISB48, ZISS36, ZISS42, ZISS48, ZISW36, ZISW42, and ZISW48. Replacement can be done using the MWFP filter and an adapter. Dimensions are 6" x 4".
