Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve - Single Outlet Valve Kit
This water inlet valve is an OEM replacement part for GE refrigerators, including brands like Cafe, General Electric, Monogram, Haier, Hotpoint, Profile, Fisher & Paykel, and Sears-Kenmore. It aims to enhance the performance and efficiency of your refrigerator's ice maker and water dispenser. The updated design allows for easy installation; just push the water line into the valve fittings.
The valve controls the flow of water to both the ice maker and the water dispenser. If you notice issues with these functions or detect a leak, replacing the single outlet valve might be necessary. This valve comes with 1/4-inch compression fittings and is suitable for refrigerators that produce crescent-shaped ice cubes.
According to the manufacturer, this OEM part includes a quick connection feature. To install, cut off the retaining nut from your current plastic water line and push it into the new valve. Ensure that you disconnect the water and power sources from the refrigerator before starting the repair.
This part addresses the following issues:
- Leaking
- Ice maker not producing ice
- Ice maker not dispensing ice
