Water Inlet Valve & Harness for Dishwashers.
This product is compatible with various GE brands, including Cafe, General Electric, Monogram, Haier, Hotpoint, Profile, Fisher & Paykel, and some Sears-Kenmore models. It is an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) part designed specifically for GE dishwashers. The main function of the water inlet valve is to manage the entry of water into the dishwasher, opening and closing at the appropriate times during the wash cycle to ensure efficient operation.
Common reasons for the malfunctioning of the water inlet valve may include normal wear and tear, accumulation of minerals due to hard water, or breakdown of the valve's components.
If you notice any of the following issues, they might indicate a problem with the water inlet valve:
- The dishwasher does not fill with water.
- Water fills too slowly or continues filling after the dishwasher is full.
- Water leaks around the valve area.
- Strange sounds are heard from the valve when the dishwasher is filling.
This part is also suitable for use with certain Hotpoint, RCA, and Kenmore dishwasher models.
