Dishwasher Control Panel Assembly

The LG dishwasher control panel is designed for use with LG and Sears-Kenmore models. This component houses the main controls, allowing users to select cycles and other settings. If the control panel is damaged or malfunctions, it must be replaced. Signs of failure include unresponsive buttons or intermittent functionality.

To replace the control panel, first disconnect the dishwasher from power and water sources. Move the appliance away from the wall to access the sides and top. Remove the screws on the sides near the top to detach the main trim. Once the trim and front plate are off, unthread the screws around the control panel. Disconnect the control board from its wire harness and unhook any drainage tubes. Release the clips securing the control panel to the control board assembly. Install the new control panel by reversing these steps.
