Washer Top Cover
This top cover fits LG and Sears-Kenmore top-loading washing machines. It is a square panel positioned next to the appliance lid, securing various components and featuring cut-outs for the lint compartment and other parts. Constructed from durable materials, it can still wear out or break over time. If damaged or missing, it needs replacement.
To replace the top cover, first unplug the washing machine and turn off the water supply. Wear work gloves for hand protection. Open the door and locate screws near the door opening. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove these screws. Lift the front edge of the machine top to access additional fasteners. Remove the old top cover and install the new one in the same position. Ensure everything is aligned correctly before reattaching it to the machine.
