Central Control Unit for Washing Machines
Whirlpool manufactures several brands, including Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, Roper, and Admiral. Additionally, Whirlpool produces items for Sears-Kenmore and Ikea. This replacement part is an OEM control board designed for washing machines. It functions as the main computer, sending necessary signals to the washer for its operations. If your washer fails to turn on, spin, rinse, or drain correctly, the control board may need replacement. Fortunately, this repair is straightforward.
First, disconnect all power to the appliance. Move the washer away from the wall to access the upper back panel. Remove this panel to find the old control board. Note the orientation of the attached wires before removing the board. Connect the wire harness and individual wires to the corresponding terminals on the new board. Secure the new board in place and reinstall the upper back panel.
This genuine replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with washers from Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Sears/Kenmore.
