Range Control Board with Touchpad, Black Color.
This component is useful if your oven produces little to no heat while baking. It is a genuine Whirlpool part, compatible with brands such as Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, Roper, and Admiral. Whirlpool also manufactures products for Sears-Kenmore and Ikea.
The control board manages and monitors the range's temperatures and includes a digital display and user interface buttons. It can short out due to power surges or excessive heat exposure. For example, overuse of the oven's self-clean function can cause parts of the control board to melt or malfunction.
Before installing this part, ensure the appliance is powered off and completely cooled. You may need to move the stove away from the wall to access the screws holding the control panel. Remove the screws from each side of the control panel, disconnect any wire harnesses, and then remove the old control board. Install the new part by reversing these steps.
This product is an OEM part and does not include additional parts or hardware.
