Washing Machine Main Control Board
The resistor on this board may burn out if there's another issue with your washing machine. This part is useful if your washer pumps but doesn't spin.
Whirlpool manufactures a range of products under various brands, including Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, Roper, and Admiral. They also produce items for Sears-Kenmore and Ikea. This specific part is a Whirlpool washer control board. It is the main control board located behind the user interface, distinct from the motor control board inside the washer's body. This component manages the primary functions of the washer and switches between different cycles. When it malfunctions, some functions may become intermittently unavailable, and the washer might spin continuously, disrupting the normal cycle timeline.
To start the repair, remove the control knob from the front of the washer. Pull the washer away from the wall to access the rear panel. Unscrew the back panel, then push back on the control panel while sliding a flathead screwdriver under the right corner to release the mounting clip. Repeat on the left side, and the central console should come free. Disconnect the wire harness clips and remove the air hose from the control board. Unscrew the mounting screws and remove the control board from its protective console. To install the new component, reverse these steps.
This product is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer and is compatible with Whirlpool, Maytag, and JennAir appliances.
