Touchpad and Control Panel Assembly for Range/Stove/Oven, in Black.
This component is compatible with various brands including Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, Roper, and Admiral. Additionally, Whirlpool manufactures compatible products for Sears-Kenmore and Ikea. The assembly serves as the control panel for Whirlpool ranges and ovens, incorporating all necessary buttons for setting functions, temperature, timers, and the clock. It also oversees the operation of both the stovetop and oven.
Damage to the control panel can occur due to physical impacts, liquid spills, or exposure to high temperatures. Indicators of a malfunctioning control panel include unexpected operations, non-responsive controls, or a failure of the oven or stovetop to operate correctly. Once damaged, the control panel cannot be repaired and must be replaced.
To replace the control panel, ensure the power is disconnected before removing the protective shroud or cowl to access the mounting screws. After removing these screws, disconnect the wiring, replace with the new control board, and reassemble.
This genuine OEM part is available for individual sale and is specifically designed for use with Whirlpool and Jenn-Air ovens.
