The LP Orifice Kit serves as an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool ranges. It contains five LP orifices to convert a range from natural gas to LP.

The LP orifice controls gas flow and pressure to ensure proper flame size and heating efficiency when using liquid propane instead of natural gas. This part is precision-machined to manage fuel safely and efficiently.

A faulty orifice kit can result from wear over time, incorrect sizing affecting fuel regulation, or damage to the orifice opening. Indicators of a problematic orifice include improper flame height, uneven heating, higher energy costs due to inefficient combustion, or safety issues like pilot outage.
