**Dryer Felt Seal**
Whirlpool manufactures a range of brands, including Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, Roper, and Admiral. They also produce items for Sears-Kenmore and Ikea. The Dryer Drum Felt Seal, an OEM replacement part, is designed for use in Whirlpool dryers. It is positioned between the drum's rear and the dryer's rear panel to prevent air leakage.
You might need to replace this seal if your dryer shows signs such as unusual squealing or banging noises, clothes getting stuck between the drum and felt pad, longer drying times, insufficient heating, or failure to tumble.
The seal measures about 36 inches in length and 1 inch in width. Note that adhesive for installation is not included. You will need a 5/16 nut driver and a putty knife for this task.
