This genuine replacement part is a control board designed for Whirlpool dishwashers. The control board serves as the main circuit board, managing the dishwasher's primary functions. If your dishwasher fails to turn on or does not drain correctly, it may require a new control board.

Replacing a control board is straightforward. Start by removing the outer door panel of the dishwasher by unthreading the mounting screws. Lift the control panel and disconnect the wire touchpad harness from the control board. Use a flathead screwdriver to release the locking tab and slide the control board housing to the left to detach. Remove the wire covers. Note the orientation of the wire connectors and disconnect them from the old board.

To install the new control board, reconnect the wire connectors to the correct terminals. Align the wire covers and secure them in place. Insert the control board housing tabs into the mounting bracket slots and slide the housing to the right to lock it in place. Reattach the control panel by connecting the control pad wire harness to the new board. Align the panel and rethread the mounting screws to secure it.
