Main Control Board for Range/Stove/Oven
Whirlpool manufactures products under various brands, including Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, Roper, and Admiral. They also produce items for Sears-Kenmore and Ikea. This specific control board is for a Maytag oven. It regulates oven temperatures and includes a digital display. Power surges or excessive heat can cause the control board to short out. For instance, using the self-clean function too often or for extended periods may damage the board. If the control board fails, the oven may become inoperative.
Before installing the new control board, ensure the appliance is unplugged and fully cooled. You might need to move the stove away from the wall to access the screws securing the control panel. Remove the screws from each side of the control panel to reach the old control board. Disconnect any wire harnesses and remove any screws securing the board before installing the new one.
This is a genuine OEM part compatible with ranges from Whirlpool brands, including Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and others. This product includes only the control board and does not come with additional parts or hardware.
