This kit can be used if the oven fails to start. Compatible brands include Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, Roper, and Admiral. Whirlpool also manufactures products for Sears-Kenmore and Ikea. The surface burner igniter and knob kit, model 12001296, generates the spark needed to ignite the burner.
