This component regulates the stove top burner on your oven. It is compatible with various brands under the Whirlpool umbrella, including Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, Roper, and Admiral. Additionally, Whirlpool manufactures products for Sears-Kenmore and Ikea.

The switch specifically controls the stove top surface burner, as well as the Rear Right Burner and Center Rear Burner. It operates at 5.2-6.6A and 240V. This is a new, genuine replacement part from Whirlpool.

Before installation, ensure the cooktop is unplugged or the house circuit breaker is turned off. Use work gloves to protect your hands during the process.
