Washing Machine Main Control Board
Whirlpool manufactures a range of brands, including Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, and Roper. They also produce appliances for Sears-Kenmore and Ikea. This control board is specifically designed for Whirlpool washing machines. Located behind the control panel at the top of the washer, it oversees key functions such as filling, washing, spinning, and draining.
Power surges, excessive heat, or moisture can damage the control board. If you see the error code F1 E1 on the washer's display, it indicates a malfunction in the control board. A faulty board may cause the washer to skip cycles or stop functioning. Use a voltage tester to confirm if the control panel is the source of the issue.
Before replacing the control board, ensure the washer is unplugged and pulled away from any walls. Access the control panel from the back of the machine by removing the mounting screws. Disconnect the old control board from its wire harnesses and mount the new one in its place.
This is an authentic OEM part compatible with washing machines from various Whirlpool brands, including Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, and Roper.
