It also fits appliances from Sears-Kenmore and Ikea. The FreshFlow produce preserver is designed to extend the freshness of fruits and vegetables. Typically placed in the refrigerator's crisper drawer or produce storage area, it absorbs ethylene gas. This gas is naturally emitted by some fruits and vegetables as they ripen and can speed up the ripening of nearby produce, leading to quicker spoilage. The FreshFlow pouches use activated carbon to absorb and neutralize ethylene gas, helping to slow down the ripening process. Each pack contains two pouches.
