Replacing this part is straightforward. First, ensure the dishwasher is unplugged and the water supply is turned off. Disconnect the drain line from the garbage disposal or sink drain. Open the dishwasher door and remove the bottom dish rack. Take out the upper dishrack from its track and release the spray arm at the bottom. Next, release the feed tube clips. Using a nut driver, remove the bottom access panel and tow panel. Detach the power cable from the junction box and disconnect the supply line from the inlet valve. Pull the dishwasher out from the counter, tilt it on its side, and remove the hose from the drain pump. Detach the wire harness from the pump and disconnect the wires from the diverter motor and circulation motor. Finally, tilt the dishwasher upright and remove the old pump and motor assembly. Replace it with the new assembly.
