Refrigerator Water Filter Description:

This product is compatible with several refrigerator brands including Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, Roper, and Admiral. It is also suitable for certain Sears-Kenmore and Ikea models. Designed for Amana refrigerators, this single-pack water filter is conveniently located inside the refrigerator for easy access. Users can replace the filter with a simple twist and turn motion without the need for any additional tools.

The filter effectively reduces contaminants such as cysts, chlorine taste and odor, particulates (class I), and lead, while preserving beneficial fluoride. It is advisable to replace the filter every 6 months or after filtering approximately 300 gallons of water to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.

This product adheres to NSF/ANSI 42 standards, as certified by IAPMO, ensuring it meets criteria for material safety, structural integrity, and system performance, specifically in reducing chlorine taste and odor. The filter is white and has a flow rate of 0.5 gallons per minute (gpm). It operates effectively within a pressure range of 30-120 psi and a temperature range of 38-100°F. The dimensions of the filter are approximately 3-1/2 inches in diameter and 6 inches in height.
