The refrigerator water reservoir is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part designed to store and distribute water to the refrigerator's water dispenser and ice maker. It maintains a reserve of water, ensuring that cold water is always on hand for dispensing and ice production. When activated, the water dispenser or ice maker pulls water from the reservoir.
