Dishwasher Touchpad and Control Panel

Whirlpool manufactures a range of brands, including Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, Roper, and Admiral. They also produce items for Sears-Kenmore and Ikea. This control panel is a genuine replacement part for dishwashers. It is the plastic piece on top of the dishwasher that contains the selection buttons. If your control panel is cracked, damaged, or unresponsive, a replacement is necessary.

To replace the control panel, first, ensure the dishwasher is unplugged. Open the front door and remove the six screws securing the control panel. Gently pull out the panel and lift it slightly. Release the locking tabs to detach the latch from the control panel. Remove the handle by taking out the screw that holds it, then set the handle aside. Release the two tabs holding the control board in place, remove the board, and install it into the new control panel. Reattach the wire harness to the new board and reattach the handle. Snap the new control panel into place, rethread the mounting screws, and close the dishwasher door.
