Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve
Whirlpool manufactures a range of products, including brands such as Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, Roper, and Admiral. Additionally, Whirlpool produces items for Sears-Kenmore and Ikea. The water inlet valve, model WP12544001, is designed to supply water to the refrigerator’s ice maker and water dispenser. When replacing the "Y" Tube, note that the old valve with a double water outlet should be switched to this single outlet valve, eliminating the need for the "Y" Tube.
This part addresses the issue of the refrigerator not dispensing water.
Before installing this part, ensure that any perishable food is stored safely. Unplug the refrigerator and wear work gloves to protect your hands during the installation process.
